1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RedirectBoss ("Service"), operated by Rust Belt Tools LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

RedirectBoss provides domain redirect management services, allowing users to create, manage, and monitor subdomain redirects through our web-based platform and API.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our Service
• One person or legal entity may maintain only one free account

3.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Subscription Plans

We offer multiple subscription plans with different features and limits. Current pricing and plan details are available on our website and during signup.

4.2 Billing Terms

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Usage charges for Business plan additional domains are billed monthly in arrears
• All fees are subject to our Refund Policy (see Section 4.5)
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers

4.3 Free Trial

• New accounts receive a 14-day free trial
• Credit card required for trial signup to prevent abuse
• No charges applied during the trial period
• You can cancel anytime during trial with zero charges
• If not cancelled, billing begins automatically on day 15
• Trial accounts have same features as our entry-level paid plan

4.4 Payment Processing

• Payments are processed by Paddle Market Limited
• You authorize us to charge your designated payment method for all fees
• Failed payments may result in service suspension after reasonable notice
• You are responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion fees, or payment processing fees

4.5 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Uses

• Managing legitimate domain redirects for business or personal purposes
• Using our API within documented rate limits
• Creating redirects that comply with applicable laws and regulations

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not use RedirectBoss to:

• Create redirects for illegal, fraudulent, or malicious purposes
• Redirect to websites containing malware, phishing content, or illegal material
• Circumvent geographic restrictions or violate intellectual property rights
• Engage in spam, harassment, or abuse of other users or third parties
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise our Service
• Use our Service to compete directly with RedirectBoss
• Create redirects that violate third-party terms of service

5.3 Content Responsibility

• You are solely responsible for all redirect destinations and content
• We do not monitor or control redirect destinations
• You must have appropriate rights to create redirects for domains you manage

6. Service Availability and Limitations

6.1 Service Level

• We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service except as specified in Section 6.4
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced with reasonable advance notice (minimum 24 hours for planned outages)
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with 30 days notice

6.2 Usage Limits

• Domain limits apply per subscription tier
• API rate limits are enforced to ensure service stability
• Excessive usage may result in temporary throttling or service suspension with notice

6.3 Data Backup and Recovery

• We maintain regular backups of user configuration data
• Users are responsible for maintaining their own records of redirect configurations
• We are not liable for data loss, though we will make reasonable efforts to restore data from backups
• Data is retained for 30 days after account termination for potential recovery

6.4 Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Starter & Professional Plans:

• Target uptime: 99.9% monthly (calculated excluding scheduled maintenance)
• No SLA credits (best effort basis)
• Scheduled maintenance excluded from uptime calculation
• Best effort support response times

Business Plans:

• Target uptime: 99.95% monthly (calculated excluding scheduled maintenance)
• Service credits: 10% per hour of unplanned downtime (max 100% monthly fee)
• 24-hour advance notice for scheduled maintenance
• Priority support response times

Enterprise Plans:

• Custom SLA defined in Master Service Agreement (MSA)
• Typical uptime guarantee: 99.99% monthly
• Custom credit structure and support response times
• Dedicated account manager for issue escalation
• Negotiated maintenance windows

Exclusions from SLA:

• Outages caused by your DNS provider
• Issues with redirect destination websites
• Problems caused by your misconfigurations
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, wars, etc.)
• Third-party service failures beyond our control

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Our Rights

• RedirectBoss and all related trademarks, logos, and content are owned by Rust Belt Tools LLC
• Our software, algorithms, and proprietary technology remain our exclusive property
• These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in our intellectual property

7.2 Your Rights

• You retain ownership of any domain names and websites you redirect through our Service
• You grant us a limited license to use your configuration data solely to provide the Service
• You represent that you have the right to create redirects for all domains you configure

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Privacy Policy

• Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy
• By using our Service, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy

8.2 Communications Consent

• By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional emails related to your account and billing
• You may opt-in to receive product updates, usage notifications, and promotional emails
• You may opt-in to receive SMS notifications for urgent service alerts (separate SMS opt-in required)
• You can modify communication preferences in your account settings at any time

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RUST BELT TOOLS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

9.3 Third-Party Services

• We are not responsible for the availability or content of third-party websites or services
• Redirects to third-party destinations are beyond our control and responsibility
• Integration with DNS providers and other services is provided as-is

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rust Belt Tools LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your redirect configurations and destinations
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

• You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription
• Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease at the end of your billing period
• You may export your redirect configuration data before termination

11.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:

• You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Your account becomes past due for payment (after reasonable notice and opportunity to cure)
• We reasonably believe your account poses a security or legal risk
• You engage in activity that could harm our Service or other users
• Required by law or regulatory authority

11.3 Effect of Termination

• All configured redirects will cease to function upon account termination
• You remain liable for all charges incurred prior to termination
• We will retain your data for 30 days after termination for potential recovery
• After 30 days, all data may be permanently deleted
• Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.2 Informal Resolution

Before initiating arbitration or litigation, you agree to contact us at legal@redirectboss.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receiving notice.

12.3 Arbitration

Any disputes arising under these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Wyoming, United States, or via video conference at our discretion.

12.4 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between us and you individually. You waive any right to participate in any class action or class-wide arbitration. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THERE SHALL BE NO RIGHT OR AUTHORITY FOR ANY CLAIMS TO BE ARBITRATED OR LITIGATED ON A CLASS ACTION BASIS.

12.5 Exceptions to Arbitration

Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect intellectual property rights or confidential information.

13. General Provisions

13.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rust Belt Tools LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.

13.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to reflect the parties' intent as closely as possible.

13.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by our authorized representative.

13.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

13.5 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered email address at least 30 days before taking effect and posted on our website. Non-material changes may be posted on our website with immediate effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13.6 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

13.7 Independent Contractors

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and Rust Belt Tools LLC.
